The municipal corporation headed by the mayor of Adeje, José Miguel Rodríguez Fraga, has met this Monday to hold a minute of silence and express unanimous rejection of the murder of Hayate, which occurred this morning, allegedly at the hands of his ex-partner.
Fraga has commented that they are waiting for it to be confirmed that it is a crime of gender violence, “which is what it seems”.
“I want to forcefully express our rejection of any type of violence, especially gender violence that this week we are experiencing in a dramatic way in the country, four cases so far this year. The mayor also expressed “the grief and pain that the death of a human being always causes us with the addition that it has occurred within our community.”
