The City Council of Santa Cruz de Tenerife has opened a file of information reserved for an official of the body of the Santa Cruz Local Police regarding the processing of overtime and the alleged improper use of public resources in police facilities.
The decision has been adopted by the Citizen Security area of the capital City Council, as reported by the consistory in a statement on Thursday.
The official has resigned from his current assignment while the investigation of said file is being carried out, which will determine if the facts on which it is investigated are true and in order to settle, where appropriate, the appropriate disciplinary responsibility, the City Council has added.
