Lightning, thunder and heavy rain have begun to be felt in various municipalities of Tenerife fruit of the arrival of a storm which is sweeping the whole island. The rain has made an appearance especially in different areas of the north of Tenerife and the metropolitan area, but the most striking thing is being the electrical device widely photographed by hundreds of users of different social networks.
In some southern areas, such as the municipality of Arico, the rainfall is also being felt intensely.
The meteorologist González Alemán commented on Twitter that “the environment in Canary Islands today has been favorable for convection, but it is in the last few hours when it has increased considerably, at sunset. Now we have cloud tops reaching considerable heights and even with storms. Important nucleus to the north of Tenerife”.
same as in The Palm, the convergences that caused storms, are now taking place in the NE of the island of Tenerife. They have also caused rainfall in the Anaga area.
