The Town Hall of the Villa de San Juan de la Rambla received this week five new workers belonging to the project job San Juan de la Rambla +to give work to twenty rambleros in social exclusion or at risk of suffering from it thanks to an investment of 340,000 euros, from the Canary Islands Employment Service and the Consistory.
This project is the result of a collaboration framework agreement between the Consistory, the Canary Islands Employment Service and the Canary Islands Federation of Municipalities (Fecam) for the development of “utility and reinsertion tasks within the framework of the extraordinary employment program for the period 2022-2023”. Its objective is that all the selected residents benefit from a 75% working day, with contracts that vary in duration between one year and six months.
In the first of the cases, with a tenure of 12 months, are the five employees who started the tasks this week. Four of them assigned to the Social Welfare area to provide home care services, and the fifth to the New Technologies area as a computer operator. In the coming weeks, the rest of the workers with a contract duration of six months will be incorporated.
The functions that they will occupy will be administrative assistant, child educator, sociocultural animator, sports animator, construction laborer, bricklayer, laborers and plumbers.
