SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, Dec. 28 (EUROPA PRESS) –

Transportes Interurbanos de Tenerife (Titsa) and Metrotenerife, transport companies of the Cabildo de Tenerife, adapt their schedules on New Year’s Eve and New Year.

Thus, the urban and interurban buses and Line 1 of the tram will circulate during the night of the festival while on January 1 the transport will operate normally with the hours of the festive day.

The insular Councilor for Mobility and president of the transport companies, Enrique Arriaga, points out in a note that “on New Year’s Eve there are a large number of trips and celebrations until the wee hours of the morning, which is why the buses and trams, as the public service that they are, they will not stop circulating at night and will have very competitive frequencies that invite you to leave the car at home and move safely during the festivities”.

Users can find out about the tram and bus service on the website of the transport companies, www.mettenerife.com Y www.titsa.comas well as on their social networks and customer service telephone numbers.

The Titsa company will normally carry out night services on its urban and interurban lines during New Year’s Eve.

In this way, lines 014, 015, 050, 101, 104, 352, 353, 363, 390, 420, 467, 473, 711, 971, 972 and 974 will maintain the usual business day hours on the night of December 31 .

Route 014 will have departures from the capital at 00:10, 1:30, 3:00 and 5:10, while in the opposite direction the departures will take place at 23:30, 00:50, 02:20 and 3:45.

Line 711, between Santa Cruz de Tenerife and Costa Adeje, will leave at 10:30 p.m., 11:45 p.m., 12:15 a.m., 2:30 a.m. and 4:00 a.m. Back to the capital, the scheduled times are 22:00, 23:05, 00:20, 2:00, 3:00, 3:55 and 5:30.

The 104, which connects the Santa Cruz de Tenerife Interchange with Puerto de la Cruz, will have departures northbound at 10:55 p.m., 12:00 a.m., 1:00 a.m. (from La Laguna), 2:25 p.m. and 3:30 a.m. while from Puerto de la Cruz, the schedules They will be at 00:00, 1:20, 2:25, 4:40 and 5:25.

Line 974, which connects the Santa Cruz de Tenerife Interchange with Taco, Santa María del Mar, Añaza and back to the Interchange, will carry out its usual night route with departures at 10:20 p.m., 10:50 p.m., 12:00 a.m., 2:40 p.m., 3:00 a.m. and 4:25 p.m.

For its part, line 971, between the Interchange and Ofra through Barrio de la Salud, will have 5 departures: at 00:00, 1:00, 3:00, 4:00 and 5:00. The return will be at 00:30, 1:30, 3:30, 4:30 and 5:25.

Route 972, which leaves from the Interchange to the Barrio de La Salud via Cuesta Piedra, will have two departures, at 11:05 p.m. and 2:00 a.m. and, in the opposite direction, at 11:30 p.m. and 2:15 p.m.

As for the Aeroexpress 20, it will make trips from the capital’s interchange at 10:40 p.m., 11:10 p.m., 11:40 p.m. and 12:15 a.m. and to go to the South airport, users have line 711.

METROTENERIFE

The Line 1 trams will provide service throughout the New Year’s Eve night, from December 31 to January 1, with frequencies of 10 minutes until 10:00 p.m., then 15 minutes until 3:00 a.m., to continue later with frequencies of 20 minutes the rest of the night. As for Line 2, its service will end at 00:00.

For security reasons, from 11:00 p.m. and during the night service, Teatro Guimerá will be the final stop of Line 1 in Santa Cruz, so the Fundación and Intercambiador stops are out of service.

This measure is adopted on the occasion of the celebration events planned in the area of ​​Plaza de España and Iglesia de la Concepción.

At 9:30 a.m. on January 1, the section between Teatro Guimerá and Intercambiador will be back in service, thus restoring circulation on all of Line 1, from Intercambiador to La Trinidad.

As of 6:00 a.m. on January 1, the frequencies for public holidays will begin to operate on both lines, so the tram network will provide service with frequencies of 12, 15 and 30 minutes, depending on the time slot.
