SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, Dec. 28 (EUROPA PRESS) –
Red Cross emergency teams helped around thirty people on Tuesday who were trapped with their cars due to the intense snowfall in the vicinity of Teide and Roque de Los Muchachos, in Tenerife and La Palma, respectively.
The Red Cross keeps its equipment operational given that the snowfall and strong gusts of wind continue and in anticipation of maintaining security and helping people affected by the storm, but insists that citizens pay attention to the recommendations and restrictions of the authorities.
The accesses to Teide have already been open since Tuesday afternoon after completing the work of cleaning the roads by the Cabildo Highway area.
