This was reported by the CEO of the Development Society, Alfonso Cabello, who explained that “with this space the city gains nearly 400 parking spaces that will allow visitors to visit Santa Cruz and do their Christmas shopping more comfortably.”
Cabello reported that “this car park, which can be accessed through the Auditorium area, will be open from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. from December 29 to January 16, which also facilitates parking during the first days of the sales campaign” and added that “it is a necessary measure on these dates of high influx of residents and visitors in the municipality and that has a very good reception among citizens and the commercial and restaurant fabric.”
Likewise, Cabello thanked “the involvement of the Port Authority team to meet another year one of the historical demands of the commercial sector of the Area of Great Tourist Influx, as well as residents and visitors” and stressed that “the esplanade has more of 3,500 square meters and is located in a strategic point, close to several commercial and restaurant areas of the municipality.
“With this action, the City Council intends to favor the business fabric and create an environment conducive to shopping,” said Cabello, who stated that “this measure also has the support of the Zona Centro association.”
