SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, Dec. 24 (EUROPA PRESS) –
A 27-year-old man died after being run over at dawn this Saturday on the TF-1, near the access to Los Cristianos, in the municipality of Arona.
The events occurred after 3:30 a.m. when the Emergency and Security Coordination Center (CECOES) 1-1-2 of the Government of the Canary Islands received a call reporting the accident of a person.
1-1-2 immediately activated the necessary emergency resources and SUC personnel assessed and assisted the affected person.
However, after verifying that he was in cardiorespiratory arrest, he performed advanced cardiopulmonary resuscitation maneuvers without obtaining results, confirming his death.
The Civil Guard regulated traffic in the area and instructed the corresponding procedures and Highway Maintenance personnel carried out cleaning tasks on the road.
