With the presence of his widow, Amada Mesa, and his son, Maguer, the Puerto de la Cruz City Council and the Las Adelfas Wrestling Club honored Cosme Yanes, one of the promoters of the canarian wrestling in the municipality, founder and president of the Club.
A commemorative plaque was discovered in Cosme’s favorite place: in the wrestling arena. The mayor, Marco González, read the plenary agreement in a field that had a very good attendance at a fight between Tegueste and Tijarafe. Its solidarity character benefits the Spanish Association Against Cancer, which will receive the proceeds.
