
The City Hall of Los Realejos, through its Department of Sports, organized last Sunday a new edition of its Sports Gala, chaired by the mayor, Adolfo González. On this occasion, it had a new format “with which the past, present and future of local sports were honored, recognizing a person or group for each of these categories and entity at the proposal of 33 local sports clubs, with which a commemorative metope was delivered to 99 athletes.
“About 1,000 people packed the sports venue where a special recognition was delivered to those who were members of the technical staff of the Municipal Sports Service, Maribel García Plasencia and Andrés Hernández Yanes,” the City Council’s press release stated.
