La Victoria’s budget increases investments by 45%

The budget of the City Hall of La Victoria de Acentejo For 2023, it foresees a 45.34% increase in investments, which will add up to 2,382,000 euros, which represents 24.67% of the total economic document. With this amount, the northern consistory It will carry out with its own funds the improvements in theto water supply network (350,000 euros), the remodeling of the area of gunpowder (300,000 euros), part of the rehabilitation of the House of Dean Calzadilla (115,000 euros) or the acquisition of land for public use (90,000 euros).

In this investment chapter, projects co-financed with other public administrations also stand out, such as park-and-ride parking in Perez Diaz street (1,392,866 euros), or photovoltaic installations for energy self-consumption in the El Pinar Sports Complexin the municipal water tank of Marrero and in other municipal buildings (1,030,854 euros).

For the mayor, Juan Antonio Garcia Abreu (PSOE)these investments show that his government “remains firm in its commitment to energy efficiency, investing in sources of clean, sustainable and environmentally friendly energywhich, in addition, in the medium term will mean great savings in the municipal electricity consumption bill.

The municipal accounts for next year were approved in the last plenary session. They increase by 11.27% compared to the current year and reach 9,656,189 euros.
