Carmen Luisa Castro is once again the PP candidate for Mayor of Güímar

Carmen Luisa Castro wrapped in her presentation as municipal candidate of the PP
The day

The municipal spokesperson of the Popular Party, Carmen Luisa Castropresented his candidacy for the Güimar City Hall in an act held at the municipal headquarters of the PP. The event was attended by affiliates and supporters and by Emilio Navarroisland president of the party, as well as its candidates for the Cabildo and Parliament, Lope Afonso and Rebeca Paniagua, respectively, as well as the senator for Tenerife, Antonio Alarcó.

In his address, Castro promised that in the PP “we will work with enthusiasm and from closeness to the neighbors, so that in Güímar there will once again be a government whose priority is the citizens.” With this, the mayoral candidate rejected the management of the municipal government developed during the last four years. At the time, she claimed that “our municipality deserves a rigorous government, which provides certainty in the face of social and economic circumstances that complicate the lives of many families.”

The president of the People’s Party from Tenerife, Emilio Navarro, supported the words of the candidate (for the third time) to the Güímar City Council, Luisi Castro, and took the opportunity to claim “the important role that municipalism plays in island politics, since it implies direct contact with the problems of citizens.” In this sense, he pointed out that “the defense of municipalism is the tool that the Popular Party has to respond to those needs.”
