Foreigners residing in the Islands without a health card can be vaccinated

To access the vaccination, the only requirements are to go in person to the health center closest to your home to update your contact information, providing a registration certificate that effectively certifies that they are residents of the islands. , as well as your identification document such as your passport.

Access to the vaccine only requires registering with the Canary Islands Health Service

Once your data is registered in the computer system of the Canary Islands Health Service (SCS), an appointment will be provided for them to come to be vaccinated at the established vaccination points.

‘Vacuguagua’

Regarding the route of the vacuguagua on the day of this Saturday, the itinerant vehicle will move today, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., to Arinaga Beach, in Agüimes, in Gran Canaria. On the other hand, on the island of Tenerife, you will park between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. at the Meridiano Shopping Center, in Santa Cruz de Tenerife. In this regard, Health recalls that minors under 16 who come to be vaccinated must be accompanied by their mother, father or legal guardian.

On the other hand, Health has also announced a restructuring of the activity of the vaccination points on the island of Tenerife in order to reorder the activity and adjust it to current needs. As of next Monday, September 20, people who have not been vaccinated or are waiting to receive the second dose will be able to go to the following vaccination points at different times, which can be consulted on the website of the Ministry of Health, at the University Hospital of the Canary Islands, the Hospital del Norte, in Icod de los Vinos, the Candelaria Technological Center. Güímar industrial estate; the House of the Entrepreneur of Los Realejos; the Tenerife Fairgrounds and the Magma Art and Congress Center in Adeje. The vaccination points of the Hospital del Norte and the Candelaria Technological Center will remain active until next Friday, September 24.
