The only candidate to lead the local PP of Los Silos was unanimously re-elected before an assembly that ratified the work of management and implementation of the popular by the hand of the team led by Raquel González.
The re-elected local president of the PP sets herself as objectives to continue growing by increasing the number of members who approach the PP to “continue doing things as we know how to do them, in a continuous, orderly and fair manner, seeking the general interest of the neighbors.”
Another challenge that the new local team is looking for is the creation of New Generations, which is none other than opening the doors to young people with concerns from the municipality to contribute their ideas to a project such as the PP.
The new local president wishes to implement “Los Silos en positive” as the engine, impulse and illusion of a future that is within the reach of all residents.
Regarding municipal management, the deputy mayor, Raquel González, recalled the disastrous socialist management with the public swimming pool in the town where the PP had to raise political initiatives to other institutions in order not to lose the facilities, avoid their demolition and lay the foundations for their reconstruction .
Regarding the municipal budget, she is proud to have participated together with her government partner in the first budget of the town after the Socialists have stopped doing it for 8 years.
Raquel González highlights the employment projects launched from her government, training and local economy areas in collaboration with the Cabildo de Tenerife. He also highlighted the reduction in payment to suppliers, the elimination of 300,000 euros of debt that the corporation was dragging, as well as the new works in schools, public spaces or buildings that suffered a great deterioration after many years without actions.
Finally, he did not miss the great impulse to those most in need from the area of Social Affairs and the implementation of policies aimed at employment.
For his part, the president of PP Tenerife, Manuel Domínguez praised the temperance, work and perseverance of Raquel González not only in charge of the local committee but with her dedication at the head of the city council where she has demonstrated tenacity and management when practically encountering a bankrupt city council .
