The vice president of the Cabildo and Minister of Mobility, Enrique Arriaga, announces on his social networks that the Insular Government Council approved, within the budget project for 2023, more than 105 million euros for transport subsidies. This amount is 45 more than last year, when there were 60.

At least an amount of this global item must be used to cover the costs of free public transport, buses and trams, as of January 1, 2023.
The insular area director, José Alberto León, represented the Cabildo de Tenerife at the meeting with the Regional Transport Councilor, Sebastián Franquis, to bring a common position to the Ministry.
