SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, Nov. 10 (EUROPA PRESS) –
The spokesman for the Government of the Canary Islands, Julio Pérez, announced this Thursday that the Canarian president, Ángel Víctor Torres, will travel to Brussels next week –on the 15th and 16th– to outline the Canarian presidency of the Conference of Presidents of the ORs taking over from Martinique.
In a press conference to give an account of the agreements of the Governing Council, he commented that the president will meet, among others, with the president of the European Parliament, Roberta Metsola, the Spanish ambassador in Brussels, Beatriz Larrotcha, the general secretary of the EU and the Commissioner for Cohesion and Reforms, Elisa Ferreira.
