Gastronomic Samples Degústa.me Adeje 2022 celebrates its 13th edition until December 3. It arrives as a relevant resource for the local economy as restoration is an essential factor as a tourist destination in all areas: international, national, regional and inland. This initiative of the municipal areas of was announced at the Costa Adeje Tourism Development Center (CDTCA). The councilor of EmploymentRaquel Rodríguez, stressed that this type of event “is essential to boost the restaurant sector, which is becoming more and more important in our municipality, such is the point that two Adejero restaurants hold Michelin Stars.”
Bringing the population of Adejera and visitors closer “to the richness and variety of our gastronomy”, as well as “putting value on both the establishments and the people who work in the restaurant sector” are the objectives set out in this project.
Gastronomic workshops, gastronomic activities and culinary demonstrations, the Degusta.me Adeje 2022 tapas route and the Degusta.me Adeje 2022 Special make up this project that is already under development. Workshops.
The gastronomic workshops are aimed at children and adults and will focus on traditional Canarian cuisine, healthy cuisine, appetizers, Christmas starters and desserts. To participate, prior registration is required through the municipal website www.adeje.es.

With 19 restaurant establishments adhering to the initiative, the Tapa Degústa.me Adeje 2022 Route is scheduled to take place between the 11th and 20th of this month. During this period you will be able to taste the tapas and opt for the numerous prizes established in the bases of this classic resource.
As for gastronomic activities and culinary demonstrations, the City Council announces that it will continue to promote local gastronomy and promote the use of local products.
Gastronomic festival.
Special Degústa.me Adeje 2022 is a meeting in the form of a great gastronomic festival. It will be held on Calle Grande, in the urban area, on December 3. Aimed at all audiences, in addition to enjoying a wide gastronomic variety and the best wines from the region’s wineries, it will feature musical performances, parades, a ludoparque, workshops and bouncy castles. The entrance will be free and you will have to buy the tickets and the drink at the point of sale enabled for it.
The mayor of Health and Quality of Life of Adeje, Amada Trujillo, highlighted that, from the Department of Health «we have been collaborating with these samples for six years. To do this, we held a healthy eating workshop, which this year will be held on Tuesday, 8, at the CDTCA. This initiative is in high demand.” She explained that citizens are increasingly interested in obtaining information and advice on products and guidelines to follow to achieve a balanced and sustainable diet.
