SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, Nov. 7 (EUROPA PRESS) –
A 56-year-old hiker has been moderately injured when she fell in the Lomo de Las Jarras recreational area, in Tacoronte (Tenerife), as reported by the Canary Islands 112 Emergency and Security Coordination Center.
The events took place on the afternoon of this Sunday and members of the Island Council’s Environment Department moved to the site, enabling firefighters from Tenerife to access the track, who arrived at the place where the affected woman was located and They took her in their vehicle to the ambulance.
Next, the staff of the Canary Islands Emergency Service (SUC) assisted the woman, who at the initial moment of care presented a moderate hip injury, for which she was transferred in a sanitary ambulance to the University Hospital of the Canary Islands.
Local Police agents also collaborated with the intervening resources.
