José Carlos Báez and Isabel Valido absolute winners of the “Walls of Hell” Swimming Crossing 2022

José Carlos Báez and Isabel Valido were proclaimed absolute winners of the 6.5 km crossing in the men’s and women’s categories, while in the 1.5 km crossing, the overall male winner was Diego Dévora and in the women’s category it was Elena Borges.

The swimmer José Carlos Báez finished in first place overall in the 6.5 km distance with a time of 1:26:43, while Francisco Javier Luis qualified in second place with a time of 1:30:12. and Luis Roberto Rey finished third overall with a time of 1:34:06.

In the general men’s category, first place went to José Carlos Báez with 1:26:43, second Francisco Javier Luis with 1:30:12 and third place Luis Roberto Reycon 1:34:06. In the general women’s category, the winner was Isabel Valido with a time of 1:45:43, Victoria Sánchez finished second with 1:55:15 and Natalia Pocull came in third with 1:57:33.

As for the men’s general category in the 1.5 km test, the winner was Diego Devora Chinea with a time of 22:38, in second place, Ricardo Sánchez finished with 24:52, while José Miguel entered third place. of Salamanca with a time of 26:44. In women, the swimmer Elena Borges dominated the 1.5 km test with a time of 29:17, in second place the swimmer Verónica Soriano finished with a time of 31:08 and in Third place finished Clara Aledo with a time of 31:32.

As for the local participants, it should be noted that the first male position in the distance of 6.5 km went to Jose María Teixido with a time of 2:09:17. Francisco Jonay Rivero finished in second place with a time of 2:16:55 and Walter Bonazzi finished third with a time of 2:17:07. In the local female category of 6.5, the first swimmer to reach the finish line was Raquel Jiménez with a time of 2:15:59, AnnickVandeKerckhove second with a time of 2:18:18 and Ana Belén Socas finished third with 2:21: 3. 4.

In the local men’s 1.5 km event Gustavo Hitti entered first place with a time of 28:52, Stephen Strangeway finished second with a time of 35:05 and José Alexander Socas finished third with a time of 40 :30. In the local women’s category of 1.5 km, the first swimmer was Belén González with 32:34, second place went to Ekaterina Sapronova with 34:57 and Elena Salvador finished third with 35:35.
