SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, Sep 16 (EUROPA PRESS) –

The Nursing teams of the Canary Islands Health Service (SCS) have administered 3,075,712 doses of vaccines against COVID-19, as reported by the Ministry of Health of the Government of the Canary Islands.

In the Archipelago, 84.07 percent of the target population (that of more than 12 years that amounts to 1,960,774 people) is already vaccinated against COVID-19, since there are already 1,648,498 people who have received, at least one dose of the vaccine.

In addition, until yesterday 1,594,171 people had been immunized who have already received the complete vaccination schedule, which represents 81.30 percent of the target population of the Archipelago.

At present, groups 1 to 7 are already vaccinated with two doses between 99.5 and 99.9%. As for the rest of groups by age, in group 8 (people between 60 and 65 years old) 82.87 percent have at least one dose and 64.60 percent have the complete regimen; in Group 9 (50-59 years), 95.91% with at least one dose and 96.61 with a complete regimen; Group 10 (40-49 years), 59.77% with at least one dose and 77.59 with a complete regimen (including those immunized with Janssen, which is a single dose vaccine).

In Group 11 (30-39 years), 64.69% had at least one dose and 60.11% had the complete regimen; in Group 12 (20-29 years), 60.02 percent with one dose and 54.90 with the complete regimen, and in Group 13, people between 12 and 19 years old, 75.50 percent had a dose and 68.72 percent with the complete regimen.
