The White Night of La Laguna of this 2022 officially began yesterday the countdown to its celebration, with the presentation of its poster for this 14th edition, which, after two years of restrictions due to the pandemic, will return in style on November 26 to the streets and squares from the historic center, with activities throughout the day and for all ages. This was announced by the mayor of The lagoonLuis Yeray Gutiérrez, and the Councilor for Commerce and Economic Development, Aitami Bruno.
“We know the importance of recovering La Noche en Blanco. After two years of pandemic in which we had to reinvent ourselves, this year we meet again with a White Night that recovers its format”, highlighted the mayor.
In this sense, Aitami Bruno valued that “finally La Noche en Blanco returns, with a wide variety of activities for all ages”. In this regard, he indicated that “the program is already 90% closed, and I can anticipate that we will have a dozen fixed spaces and activities throughout the day, as well as an extensive program of street action.” And, although he did not want to reveal news or surprises of the programming yet, “we are sure that we are going to surprise”, he emphasized.

The councilor recalled that “we are collecting the proposals that they want to send us, to assess them and include them in the programming”, and pointed out that the interested associations and entities still have a deadline to transfer their proposals to the area, through the email trade@lalaguna .es, until the 28th of this month.
Bruno also highlighted that this year “the management of the event has returned to the City Council staff”, since it had been outsourced since 2015, he pointed out, so it will mean economic savings. In this sense, he indicated that the global budget for La Noche en Blanco in 2022 is around 450,000 euros.
Likewise, the mayor highlighted that all suppliers will be able to “collect their invoices in the weeks following the completion of La Noche en Blanco”.
It should be remembered that the celebration of the event coincides with the second edition of the Bono Comercio, which is being “a complete success and has far exceeded expectations”, Bruno highlighted.
