Yesterday Adeje delivered its Abinque Awards, which recognize the contribution of the women of the municipality in favor of equality. Emilia González, presenter of the Canarian Television program Tierra de Alisios, received her well-deserved award from Mayor Rodríguez Fraga.
The communicator advocated a society in which “equality, respect and justice are a reality and not a quota to be fulfilled by obligation.” Primary care workers from Adeje and Armeñime were also awarded.
