The former socialist mayor Patricia Hernández criticized yesterday, in the Municipal Control Commission, that Full moon It was only reinforced with five pairs of Local Police, when the City Council itself estimated the influx at 300,000 people. “You allocate the same number of police officers to reinforce the security of so many people as those you sent to the children’s murgas final.”

Hernández was addressing the Councilor for Security, Evelyn Alonso, who appeared, at the request of the PSOE, to report on the lack of agents on night shifts, weekends and holidays, an extreme that Alonso denied.

“There is no shortage of agents on these shifts. There are 25 per shift, plus those who join the extraordinary services, who are volunteers, and, although more than five couples signed up, some agents decided not to go, “explained the mayor.

Regarding the incidents of TAO nightclubAlonso defended that the Local Police, when they arrived, did not have to intervene, because the National Police had already arrived, which was the one notified by the 1-1-2 staff.

“There is no deficit in the shifts, although there is in the general computation, as in all the Local Police. For this reason, in January the tests will begin to add another 30 agents”, concluded Evelyn Alonso.
