SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, Oct. 12 (EUROPA PRESS) –
In the last few hours, Maritime Rescue personnel have rescued two boats with a total of 104 migrants and a deceased woman, sources from the 112 Canarias and the Red Cross report.
The first boat was rescued on Tuesday afternoon with 56 migrants on board –and a deceased woman– who were treated at the Puerto del Rosario pier and were in good general health.
The second was rescued at dawn this Wednesday with 48 migrants and one of them was referred to a health center after being treated at the La Cebolla pier, in Arrecife (Lanzarote).
