The urban center of the Villa became a dynamic space for leisure and fun on Saturday and Sunday with the Orotava Beer Festivalan event that celebrated its fourth edition and was held in the Plaza de la Constitución.
There, thousands of people were able to savor a complete variety of craft beers and a wide gastronomic offer. All this accompanied on Saturday by the good music of DK’s Bobby BoB and Renzzo El Selector, and on Sunday, by the group Agua del Chorro.
One more year, the large influx of registered people confirms that this event is already a mandatory appointment in the northern municipality.
So is Diversaldo, a sale fair that has been organized since 2005 and that manages to add more companies each year. In this edition, which took place yesterday, it took place in different spaces in the downtown area, between the streets of Puente Escultor Estévez, El Calvario, Avenida de Canarias, San Agustín and Plaza de la Constitución. The stands of more than 60 participants were distributed there, offering the public a variety of sports articles, bazaars, costume jewellery, cosmetics, electronics, aesthetics, computers, including toys, crafts, confectionery, textiles, footwear, fishing articles, and typical costumes. .

This initiative, which aims to promote local commerce by allowing merchants in the municipality to sell out-of-season items and liquidate stock from previous years, was a pioneer in Tenerife.
In addition, DiverSaldo is conceived as an activity that stimulates the local economy, since throughout the day other establishments such as restaurants, bars and cafeterias in the area also benefit. Therefore, in addition to enjoying DiverSaldo, residents and tourists took the opportunity to stroll through the streets and squares of the historic center and taste the rich local cuisine.

In fact, throughout the day, which ended after 8:00 p.m., there were activities aimed at children on Calle San Agustín, specifically, on the side of the square, and at the end of the event a fashion show was organized in the facade of the church of San Agustín, with the presence of many of the participating fashion companies.
