Rosa Dávila is running as a candidate of the Canary Coalition to the Cabildo de Tenerife



The secretary of the Organization of the Canarian Coalition of Tenerife and regional deputy, Rosa Dávila, has announced to the insular Executive of her party on the island her willingness to lead the candidacy of the Canary Coalition for the presidency of the Cabildo de Tenerife in the elections that will be held in May 2023.

Dávila’s candidacy must be endorsed in the Insular Executive and the Insular Political Council that will be held on October 28, reports a CC note.

The island secretary general of the Canary Coalition of Tenerife, Francisco Linares, explained that throughout the month of October a series of regional meetings will begin in all areas of the island to communicate to the different committees Rosa Dávila’s willingness to lead the candidacy of the Cabildo for next year.

Dávila, after her announcement, stated that she is proud to lead the candidacy for Tenerife’s first institution and pointed out that she is taking “this step with great force, immense desire and with the certainty that we are a great team”.

The current nationalist deputy thanked Carlos Alonso, present at the meeting, for his political career in the Cabildo and his work both in the island government and in recent years as a spokesperson for the opposition.
