“You’re not going to scratch me anymore”

The artist from Gran Canaria, Mel Ömana, will be at the Dale, with the aim of showing new feminist references in urban music, with lyrics that make a difference compared to other more popular and less committed artists. Among her rhymes, messages like «women must spend to ‘fill / renew the space where you walk / remove whoever hinders your step / especially whoever wants to stop you», or «listen! / you said one day clearly “I am going to destroy you” / And from that phrase the only thing that affected me was the –art / the art of loving me / the art of accepting me / the art of not seeing you / You are not going to scratch me anymore».

“Remove remove”

Ambizius, an artist of Belgian origin living in the Canary Islands, performs in Dale, where she will sing «toxic people, who contribute nothing / who see everything badly / take away / If you come into my life / And you make me unable to move forward / take away, take away» , or «you don’t need to compare yourself / loving yourself more is the answer to all your ills / When did you stop loving yourself?».

“Go back to the caves”

The Navarrese rapper La Furia will also bring her rhymes to Puerto de la Cruz against a world that “creates sick or submissive” in which “if I speak I make it up / if I scream I’m violent / if I keep quiet ‘go and denounce’ / trust the police, aunt / we have left to let go of the fuse and the coven / That the day we ally ourselves, this lights up ». She is willing to stand up to machismo with a “come on, now she’s going back to the caves.”
