Gran Canaria is the island that is suffering the most rainfall this Sunday, on the second day of the passage of the effects of the already post-tropical cyclone Hermine over the Canary Islandswith records of more than 100 liters per square meter, as reported by the Meteorology Statal Agency.
So far this Sunday, almost 113 liters/m2 have fallen in Teror, almost 108 in Valleseco, in both cases in the midlands; 105 in the neighborhood of Tafira, in the upper area of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria; 103 in the neighborhood of La Feria, also in the capital; 93 in Arucas, on the north coast; 90.5 in Tejeda, at the summit; 90.2 in the seaside neighborhood of San Cristóbal, in Las Palmas; 89 in San Mateo, in the midlands; and 88 in La Aldea, on the western slope of the island.
Among the ten points with the highest accumulated rainfall this Sunday in the Canary Islands, there is only one that is not from Gran Canaria: Güímar, in Tenerife, where the storm has discharged 97.4 liters / m2.
