Metrotenerifetransportation company Council of Tenerifeis added to the commercial and leisure initiative Come to Santa Cruz which will take place this weekend at the capital of Tenerife in such a way that the tram line 1 will serve every 10 minutes on Saturday and every 12 minutes on Sunday for most of both days.
Enrique Arriaga, island councilor for Mobility and president of Metrotenerife, highlights in a note that “the tram joins the first edition postcovid of Come to Santa Cruz offering a competitive service for the population who wants to get closer to the capital city, without having to worry about the private vehicle”.
He also stresses that it is a form of transport that “since the beginning of this month is still more affordable with the reduction in the prices of the main subscriptions and tickets for regular users.
On Saturday Line 1 trams will circulate every 10 minutes from 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. and for Sunday, a frequency of 12 minutes between 11:00 a.m. and 9:00 p.m. has been scheduled.
Outside these hours, Line 1 will continue to operate with the usual weekend hours and intervals.
Metrotenerife remembers that it is still The use of a mask is mandatory on board the trams.
