SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, Sep. 2 (EUROPE PRESS) –

CaixaBank has granted a total of 473 million euros to companies in the Canary Islands during the first six months of the year, which represents a growth of 65% compared to the same period of the previous year, and implies a total of 987 operations, 16% more compared to the first half of 2021.

This volume of credit, aimed at small, medium and large companies on the islands, has been used mainly to inject liquidity and finance investments for the growth of their businesses.

CaixaBank also offers companies various lines of specialized financing, such as factoring, confirming or renting, to guarantee both the working capital needs of companies and long-term investments.

Juan Ramón Fuertes, territorial director of CaixaBank in the Canary Islands, has stressed in a note “the financial institution’s confidence in the Canarian business fabric as a key driver of economic growth in the archipelago” and highlighted that “CaixaBank’s support for the business sector goes far beyond the financial field, offering advice and support to entrepreneurs in managing their day-to-day activities”.

This support from CaixaBank to the business fabric is also articulated through the management of access to the European Funds for Recovery (Next Generation EU).

With the aim of being an active agent in disseminating the aid available and speeding up its arrival to beneficiaries, CaixaBank offers an aid search engine to provide customers and non-customers with access to these funds.

This search engine allows you to consult the existing options depending on the beneficiary, economic sector of the recipient, type of aid, call and province.

Access to this digital platform, which has been developed by Minsait (Indra group), can be done from CaixaBankNow, the bank’s digital platform, and through the CaixaBank Business and CaixaBank Business web portals.

CAIXABANK, THE VALUE OF SPECIALIZATION

Thanks to its specialization model, with a value proposition of products and services adapted to each segment, CaixaBank is a benchmark for the business fabric, details the entity.

To provide service to micro-enterprises, the entity has CaixaBank Negocios, the division that develops products and services adapted to the peculiarities of this customer segment with close and comprehensive advice, not only through financial support, but also from support in the management of your day to day.

CaixaBank Negocios also offers specific services and personalized attention to sectors such as restaurants, through CaixaBank Food&Drinks; pharmacies, with CaixaBank Pharma and health and wellness with CaixaBank FeelGood.

Currently, this personalized service is offered from the entity’s offices on the islands and through the more than 130 specialized managers in this segment who work in the entity’s network of offices in the Canary Islands.

As for companies with a turnover of more than 2 million euros, CaixaBank provides service through the six CaixaBank Business centers located in the Canary Islands, where around 80 highly qualified professionals work, with a solid reputation in business advice.

Likewise, these centers have professionals specialized in Financing and services; foreign trade and treasury; Structured financing; Tourism and Real Estate Business, which offer personalized services and products to support, promote and meet the needs of companies in these areas.

In the international sphere, CaixaBank supports its business clients with various operational solutions with effective territorial access to 127 markets in different countries, in addition to the highly specialized managers who work in the offices in Spain, offering the best advice for operations of companies abroad.

The entity serves both SMEs and micro-enterprises that are starting their export activities as well as large corporations and business groups that face more complex international projects.
