SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, Sep. 2 (EUROPE PRESS) –
The City Council of Granadilla de Abona has proceeded this Friday to prohibit bathing, provisionally, in the central beach of El Médano, La Tejita and El Chinchorro due to the runoff of rainwater that occurred this Thursday.
The council has decided to close these bathing areas as a precaution and in order to guarantee adequate levels of safety for the population, pending the results of the counter-analyses carried out by the municipal service.
As soon as the beaches are suitable for bathing, they will be reopened.
