The mobility area of the Council of Tenerife It will improve the waiting areas and install canopies at two bus stops located on the TF-13 highway in Punta del Hidalgo, in La Laguna. The work, which has been awarded for an amount of 18,963 euros, has an execution period of two months, according to the island institution in a note.
The Minister of Mobility, Enrique Arriaga, explained that this action responds to the need to provide a better service to users in this area of the municipality, especially the elderly, guaranteeing accessibility and safety at stops and making it more comfortable the waiting time until the arrival of the buses.
The stops are 1331 and 1332, called La Punta and La Hoya, respectively. These are points that concentrate a high demand “and that lack adequate waiting areas, as well as the necessary equipment to make waiting for the user more comfortable and safe, such as seats, ischial supports and canopies,” they indicated from the insular institution .
