SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, Sep. 1 (EUROPE PRESS) –
Agents of the Local Police of Santa Cruz de Tenerife attached to a Citizen Security patrol have arrested a 48-year-old man for an alleged crime of sexist violence.
The man was arrested at his home after the investigations established after helping the alleged victim, who was begging in the vicinity of the Nuestra Señora de Africa market and manifesting a nervous and disoriented attitude.
When the local police addressed her, the young woman stated that she had been expelled from her house by her partner and suffered physical aggression and psychological mistreatment, as well as threats and insults.
At that time, the alleged victim provided a medical report of injuries in which it is reflected that he has a wound on a forearm, apparently produced with a knife.
Once the victim was identified, agents attached to the Women’s Assistance Group (GRAMU) went to the scene to appear at police stations, for the purpose of instructing the corresponding proceedings.
At the same time, the alleged aggressor was arrested by the agents and brought to justice.
