SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, 31 Aug. (EUROPE PRESS) –
Alisios Norte demands more investments for the north of the island within the framework of the ‘Tenerife and the sea’ program promoted by the Cabildo and considers that a “fair distribution” has not been made according to the needs of each region.
The association misses an “investor balance” that allows the completion of important works that “once again have been forgotten.”
By way of example, they detail promised actions such as the regeneration of Martiánez beach, in Puerto de la Cruz, improvement of the access roads to Bollullo and Los Patos, the rehabilitation for use of Charco La Sal or the execution of the sections that are missing to give continuity to the promenade from San Juan de la Rambla to Ancón beach, in addition to reconditioning the existing ones.
They also demand the start of the improvement of the Las Aguas coast, in San Juan de la Rambla, as communicated by Costas in February 2021, undertake the works of the Agua Dulce beach in Los Silos and the adaptation of accesses to swimming pools natives of Teno, among others.
From Alisios Norte it is “curious” that among the 23 works announced, which represent a total of 16.8 million, in the north of the island only the municipalities of Garachico and Puerto De la Cruz benefit with a much lower amount, of little more than 800,000 euros.
For this reason, they request the expansion of the program and budget allocation to cover the demands of this area of the island.
