SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, 30 Aug. (EUROPE PRESS) –
The Cabildo de Tenerife, through the Roads area, will completely rehabilitate the surface of the TF-620 island road along its entire route, from Los Roques to Fasnia, in the municipality of Fasnia.
This project has a budget of 3,364,159 euros and an execution period of 12 months.
The first vice-president and insular councilor for Highways, Enrique Arriaga, indicates in a note that “the project is on public display and plans to completely replace the surface of the road, work will be done on the gutters, bus stops and the elements of containment of this island road”.
In his opinion, “we find ourselves with the main access to the municipality of Fasnia in which for too many years a work of this magnitude and in all its extension has not been undertaken, it is a question of not potholing but of making a much more lasting intervention and that offers a significant improvement for road users, in terms of functionality, comfort, road safety and load-bearing capacity”.
The insular director of Roads, Tomás Félix García, also highlights the importance of a work like this that comes to improve not only the road safety of drivers with the restoration of the pavement.
The Highways area estimates that the works may begin throughout the month of December.
