The entity 2RAestudio Engineering and Architecture SLP will draw up the basic project for the new municipal swimming pool and attached sports complex in Los Realejos, with a budget of 43,977 euros. The document will be based on the previous economic-financial feasibility study of this public infrastructure and should be completed this year. The draft project that contemplates the previous feasibility study establishes a minimum, such as three vessels, machine room, spectator stands, changing rooms for users, subscribers and competition, warehouse, complementary rooms and gym, cafeteria, reception, hall and offices .
The three swimming pool vessels (sports, recreational and teaching) for federated sports training and for general use, would correspond to public management. The cafeteria, gym, fitness room and complementary spaces for sports practice would be operated by the winning company and by public concession for 22 years.
Based on the feasibility study, the project will consist of three connected buildings. One will house the swimming pools (on the municipal site), the current building rehabilitated as a gym and complementary uses, and a connection module for both, contemplating the partial occupation of the current Calle Piloto, which will connect with a surface parking space on another plot. adjoining municipality.
The work would be completed in two years from the award, a period in which the current installation will remain in use so as not to interrupt the service. The estimated mixed investment is 3.8 million euros, guaranteeing the public management of the pool, proposing its construction on the municipal lot behind the current pool.
