The Cabildo de Tenerife has reported this Tuesday, around 2:00 p.m., of the declaration of an outbreak of fire in San José de Los Llanos, in the municipality of El Tanque, in the north of the island. After 5:00 p.m., the forestry brigades considered it stabilized.
Initially, three teams of forestry brigades from Tenerife, three helicopters from the Government of the Canary Islands, two environmental agents and five fire departments, two Environment agents, a technician and 16 reinforcement troops have intervened in the area.

According to data from the Cabildo, some three hectares of land have been affected.
Just in that same area there was another attempt last July.
