The event was framed within the activities carried out by the Department of Culture and Festivals of the Granadilla City Council in the Sansofé 2022 cultural program, the largest in the south of Tenerife with more than 70 scheduled activities.
A show directed by Sandro Pérgola that lasted two hours, in which the parades of the 18 contenders for the title and various musical performances by Eva Olvido and Bea Mascareño, belonging to the collective of women DJs from Tenerife, were interspersed. , and the Tenerife singer Shamaya.
During the night, the audiovisual material of Miss Sur was projected, which included promotional videos of the municipality of Granadilla de Abona and all the towns that participate in this event.
The court of honor that will accompany Sharon Moreno this year is made up of Idariana Marcano, who was elected first maid of honor, representing Arona Tourism, and Daniela González, second maid of honor, representing the Costa Adeje tour.

During the night, in the central square of Médano, more than 3,000 people gathered. At the end of the act, the mayor of Granadilla and the organizer of Miss Sur ratified a collaboration agreement, which will allow the celebration of Miss Sur in Granadilla during 2023.
