SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, 24 Aug. (EUROPA PRESS) –
The Cabildo de Tenerife reports this Wednesday of an outbreak of fire originating in Camino Guillén, in the municipality of La Laguna, and more specifically in Montaña Facundo, which serves as a border with El Rosario.
Members of the forestry brigades of Tenerife and two helicopters have been deployed in the area, and the Eirif units of La Gomera have also been activated preventively.
The City Council of El Rosario details that the TF-226 road has been closed to traffic, between La Fuente, in the La Esperanza area, and Huerta Bicho, in El Rosario, at the height of the telecommunications antennas.
The fire advances along the Los Carriles road and 25 people who live in the Juan Fernández and Las Erillas communities have been evacuated preventively.
