Agents of the National Police have been arrested in the town of Aronain the south of Tenerifestill fugitive wanted for drug trafficking and sentenced to life in prison in the United Kingdom.
The investigation began last April when the NCA –National Crime Agency- British informed the agents specialized in locating fugitives of the National Police the possible escape to our country of a fugitive.
The fugitive was wanted by the United Kingdom for some events that occurred in 2022 after being sentenced to life imprisonment for being the leader of a criminal organization who, settled in Scotland, was dedicated to the processing and storage of large shipments of cocaine and diamorphineas well as its subsequent distribution throughout the Scottish geography.
The agents carried out multiple procedures in several Spanish cities such as Alicante, Malaga and Ibiza until he was located on the island of Tenerife where, finally, he was located and arrested in the town of Arona.
