SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, 19 Aug. (EUROPA PRESS) –
Agents from the Granadilla de Abona Main Post, on the island of Tenerife, have arrested a person in the framework of the ‘Gibossus’ operation as the alleged perpetrator of three crimes of robbery with force in things and three crimes of theft committed in the municipal district of San Miguel de Abona.
The arrest has been carried out after the agents became aware of the events that occurred and at the beginning of July they verified that the same modus operandi was used in the commission of several of the crimes against property, in addition to both the injured and the Witnesses gave a similar description of the possible author of the events, as reported by the Civil Guard in a press release.
In this way, after carrying out various investigations, the investigation directs the agents towards a person, who according to witnesses, could be residing inside a commercial premises closed to the public.
For this reason, the agents carried out several surveillance services and launched an operation that ended with the arrest of the possible perpetrator, as well as the seizure of part of the stolen objects.
The recovered effects have been handed over to their legitimate owners and the statement together with the detainee have been brought before the Granadilla de Abona Guard Court.
