The Meteorology Statal Agency (Aemet) contemplates in its forecast for this Tuesday in the Canary Islands cloudy skies tending to slightly cloudy during the central hours in low areas of the north of the islands of greater relief and of Lanzarotepredominantly cloudy skies in the case of the north coast of Tenerife. In the rest of the areas, clear skies with morning intervals in the east of Fuerteventura.

Temperatures will experience, in general, a slight decrease, more pronounced in areas facing south and west where locally 30 ºC will still be reached.

The wind will blow from the northeast with strong intervals on the southeast coast and northwest slopes, turning north on the easternmost islands in the afternoon. In the summits, generally light wind from the northeast turning north in the afternoon.

Lanzarote

Predominance of slightly cloudy or clear skies with intervals in the north. Temperatures in slight decrease in general, being more pronounced in the southern half. Northeast wind turning north in the afternoon.

Minimum and maximum temperatures in Arrecife 21 28

Fuerteventura

Predominance of slightly cloudy or clear skies with morning intervals in the east. Temperatures in general in slight decrease, being more pronounced in the maximum of the western slope; 30 ºC will be reached on the southeast coast. Northeast wind turning north in the afternoon.

Minimum and maximum temperatures in Puerto del Rosario 21 27

Gran Canaria

In low areas of the north, cloudy tending to slightly cloudy during the central hours. In the rest, clear. Temperatures in general in slight decrease, more pronounced areas facing south and west where locally they will still exceed 30 ºC. Northeast wind with strong intervals on northwest and southeast slopes; in summits, wind from the northeast turning to north in the afternoon.

Tenerife

Prevalence of slightly cloudy or clear skies tending to cloudy in low areas of the north during central hours. Temperatures in general in slight decrease, more pronounced in the midlands and low areas facing south and west where locally they will still reach 30 ºC. Northeast wind with strong intervals on the southeast coast and in the extreme northwest; in high areas, wind from north to northwest component.

The Palm

Predominance of slightly cloudy or clear skies with intervals of low clouds in the northeast and east. Minimum temperatures with few changes and maximum temperatures with a slight decrease in general, especially on the western slope where local temperatures will still reach 30ºC. Northeast wind with strong intervals on northwest and southeast slopes; in summits, generally loose wind from the northeast turning north in the afternoon.

La Gomera

In low areas of the north, cloudy tending to slightly cloudy during the central hours. In the rest, clear. Minimum temperatures with few changes and maximum in slight decrease, more pronounced in south-facing areas where locally they will still reach 30 ºC. Northeast wind with strong intervals on northwest and southeast slopes; in summits, generally loose northeast wind, turning north in the afternoon.

The iron

In low areas of the north, cloudy tending to slightly cloudy during the central hours. In the rest, clear. Minimum temperatures with few changes and maximums in slight decrease, especially on the western slope where locally they will still reach 30 ºC. Northeast wind with strong intervals on the southeast coast and in the extreme northwest; in summits, light wind from the northeast turning to north at the end of the day.
