The First Vice President and Minister of Highways, Enrique Arriaga, explained that the project contemplates not only the superficial rehabilitation of the surface with the resurfacing of the current platform, but also the widening of the shoulders, as well as the improvement of the bus stops and the placement of railings for pedestrian safety against the risk of falls at different levels for which the Island Corporation will invest 3,282,980 euros.

For his part, the insular director of Highways, Tomás Félix García, pointed out that the estimated term of execution of the works will be around eight months and that they could begin at the end of this year. In addition, he details that the action contemplates the improvement in the surface drainage elements; in the horizontal signaling and will increase the containment systems.
