They rescue six people, one of them deceased, on a beach in Tenerife. As reported by the Emergency and Security Coordination Center (CECOES) 1-1-2, At 12:48 p.m. this Friday, I received several alerts indicating that there were five or six people in distress at sea. The event took place in Callao Salvaje, in the municipality of Adeje. Room 1-1-2 immediately activated the necessary emergency resources.
The A GES helicopter rescued two people: a 29-year-old man who was in cardiorespiratory arrest, evacuated to the Callao Salvaje viewpoint, and a 28-year-old man with symptoms of drowning who was transferred to the Adeje Fire Department helipad and later evacuated to the aforementioned hospital.
The SUC personnel who were at the Mirador de Callao Salvaje confirmed that the 29-year-old man was in cardiorespiratory arrest and underwent advanced cardiopulmonary resuscitation maneuvers without success, confirming his death. For its part, the health team displaced to the Adeje helipad assisted the 28-year-old man and transferred him to a health center.
For its part, Salvamento Marítimo rescued four other people in good general condition who did not require health care. The Local Police and Salvamento en Playas collaborated in the rescue tasks. The Civil Guard and Firefighters of the Consortium collaborated with the emergency services.
