It was a torrid day in July in Icod de los Vinos (Tenerife) when David Sosa Leon received the news at home that he had turned out winner of the 38th edition of Salary for Life of Nescafe. The mountaineer, adventurer and presenter Jesús Calleja had just told him and his partner Glenda.

This Tenerife native, from Garachico, 37 years old and owner of a family business, He can not believe it. Instead, her partner received this news with great emotion: “We have a small company that is experiencing difficult times and it is costing us a lot to get ahead”Glenda affirmed, and this award came at the best time to help them continue.

A consumer of Nescafé Dolce Gusto coffee capsules for more than ten years, it has been three years since David decided to participate in what is the longest-running promotion in Spain. However, he never thought that on this occasion he could be the winner thanks to one of the 16 participations of the variety of Café con Leche -his favorite of his-, which he sent through the NDG’s website.

In addition, with the 2,000 euros per month that he will receive for life, David Sosa plans to be able to enjoy a little vacation that they had not planned, “inviting the family to spend a few days in a hotel in Tenerife,” he pointed out.

Canary Islands, lucky for the second time

For the second time in history, Nescafé’s Lifetime Salary falls on the Canary Islands. Thus, already in 2016, fortune knocked on the door of a neighbor of the island of Lanzarote.

And it is that since 1985 Nescafé rewards the loyalty of its consumers through this promotion -one of the most recognized and veteran in our country. Thus, throughout these years, the winners have been able to enjoy a prize that has been updated, going from the initial 50,000 pesetas per month (300 euros) to the current 2,000 euros per month. To do this, participants only have to send their Nescafé product labels by post, from the websites of Nescafe either Nescafe Dolce Gusto and the Nescafé or Nescafé Dolce Gusto App.
