In the last minutes the organizers of the reggaeton beach festival from Tenerife have spoken about the event that was scheduled for this Saturday, July 30, in San Miguel de Abona: “It has not been cancelled”, they affirm to meet the latest information that indicate that it was not going to be held due to “security measures” since “the documentation presented by the organization does not meet the necessary requirements.”

Likewise, on the official Instagram account of the Reggaeton Beach Festival they point out that at the moment “they are working together with the City Council of San Miguel de Abona” to “guarantee the success” of the festival.

It should be remembered that so far there are 20,000 tickets sold and many of the attendees come from outside Tenerife.

Anuel AA, Myke Towers, Justin Quiles, Bryant Myers, Juan Magán or Feid had to perform at the Reggaeton Beach Festival Tenerife, one of the most important events at a national level (it has several stops throughout Spain) of this type of musical genre.

With everything ready to be carried out, and 20,000 seats sold, this morning the San Miguel de Abona City Council made its decision public. Ticket prices range from 65 to 140 euros.

Workers of the Reggaeton Beach Festival speak out

Workers of the Reggaeton Beach Festival Tenerife consulted by DIARIO DE AVISOS have assured that from the organization they have been told that “everything remains the same”, although they do not know if it is possible that some type of permit could be arranged or correct the errors for which the city council southerner has made this decision.

As reported by Cadena Ser in Tenerife, the Councilor for Fiestas de San Miguel de Abona has reiterated that the Reggaeton Beach Festival Tenerife does not have, as of today, authorization to take place. In addition, there are “four negative reports” about it.
