The reggaeton lovers of Tenerife They woke up on the morning of this Thursday, July 28, with the news that the festival that would take place on Saturday the 30th in San Miguel de Abona had been suspended “for security reasons”. Just a few days before the celebration of the Reggaeton Beach Festival, the City Council of the municipality that would host said concert announced that it lacked authorization and therefore could not be held. “As of today, he does not have authorization.” was the phrase with which the Consistory responded to the question about the municipal refusal to give permission to hold said event. Sources from the municipal institution assured then that “the festival is suspended due to deficiencies detected both in the required documentation and in the mandatory action protocols” and that a decree signed by the mayor, Arturo González, dated July 26 (the last Tuesday) bases in the detail of 31 pages the reasons for the decision. It is based on the lack of documentation that the organizers must present and on unfavorable technical reports from the urban spheres and, above all, from security.
