Outrage over suspension reggaeton beach festival Tenerife that was going to be held this Saturday at Amarilla Golf. The Municipality of San Miguel de Abona refers to “security measures” since “the documentation presented by the organization does not meet the necessary requirements”. The problem? There are 20,000 tickets sold and many of the attendees come from outside Tenerife.

Anuel AA, Myke Towers, Justin Quiles, Bryant Myers, Juan Magán or Feid had to perform at the Reggaeton Beach Festival Tenerife, one of the most important events at a national level (it has several stops throughout Spain) of this type of musical genre. With everything ready to be carried out, and 20,000 seats sold, this morning the San Miguel de Abona City Council made its decision public. Ticket prices range from 65 to 140 euros.

The uncertainty skyrocketed from that moment, since many of the people who had bought their ticket for the Reggaeton Beach Festival Tenerife, who have not announced any type of suspension on their social networks. Nor the possibility of returning the money. Keep in mind that many of the attendees will arrive in Tenerife just for that appointment, learning of the suspension 48 hours before.

But there is more. Workers of the Reggaeton Beach Festival Tenerife consulted by DIARIO DE AVISOS have assured that from the organization they have been told that “everything remains the same”, although they do not know if it is possible that some type of permit could be arranged or correct the errors for which the city council southerner has made this decision.

As reported by Cadena Ser in Tenerife, the Councilor for Fiestas de San Miguel de Abona has reiterated that the Reggaeton Beach Festival Tenerife does not have, as of today, authorization to take place. In addition, there are “four negative reports” about it.

Facua denounced the Reggaeton Beach Festival Tenerife

FACUA denounced RBF Travel 2020 SLU, the promoter and organizer of the reggaeton beach festival which is being held this summer in a dozen Spanish cities, for prohibiting access to its facilities with food or drink purchased abroad.

The web page of this event exposes in the section of answers to the doubts of the users that “You cannot enter food or drinks from outside, but inside you will find all kinds of stands with a wide variety of food and drinks so you can have a great day“. The festival will take place in Madrid, Avilés, Marbella, Benidorm, Mallorca, Santander, Marina d’Or, TenerifeBarcelona and Nigrán (Galicia).

The association understands that the main activity of the festival is not the hospitality industry, but the development of a musical show, so “The prohibition of consuming food and drinks purchased outside the premises is not necessary for the correct achievement of the marketed activity, nor can it be prohibited on the grounds that it is done for security reasons, especially when it is possible to purchase food and drinks inside the premises. ”.
