Ruben Fernandez, president of the Tenerife Firefighters Consortiumhas issued a series of important advice for all those drivers who circulate on the roads of Tenerife during the fire that punishes the island.

Fernández asks not to access, in any way, the forest areas. There is a resolution of the Cabildo de Tenerife that strictly prohibits access to forestry. It is the first consideration to take into account.

It is necessary to avoid the roads in places where the interveners are located, all those people who are fighting the fire in a heroic way: “It is important to avoid occupying those spaces because, really, they can disturb traffic and put themselves at risk them, because we are talking about heavy vehicles”.
