Sí Podemos Canarias promotes the Cabildo’s homage to the sculptor from Tenerife María Belén Morales through an institutional agreement. A support for the diffusion of the work and trajectory of the artist from Tenerife, fundamental in the cultural movement of the Island in the 20th and 21st centuries.
María José Belda, spokesperson, announces that the corporation «commits to comply with the agreements of the institutional motion of July 2021 to promote, from the Insular Directorate of Culture, a retrospective exhibition for the beginning of 2023 at the TEA on María Belén Morales.
In addition, it is approved to make a tribute with the participation of women from the world of culture in the act for the delivery of the distinction to the relatives. Belda appreciates the support of the rest of the groups.
Belda also recalls that the first session of the Commission for awarding the Tenerife Gold Medal to the artist has already taken place.
